Appco launches landmark campaign!

Appco Group
This is not about Canada or Appco Canada, but things that Appco Group does worldwide...

Dirty drinking water has become a real big menace in many developing countries. Ethiopia, India and rural areas of China are among the places that face this menace and as many as 884 million people lack access to safe drinking water around the world. The annual death toll due to this issue is an appalling 1.8 million while 45 thousand kids lose their lives daily due to water borne diseases like Dengue Fever, Malaria, Cholera, Hepatitis A and Typhoid.

Appco Group recently launched a campaign in Hong Kong, in association with client Save the Children, in a bid to do something to save precious lives in developing countries. The campaign, 'Dirty Drinking Water', seeks to increase awareness regarding the problems caused by dirty drinking water in developing countries. The event took place at Times Square in Hong Kong. A seven foot by four foot vending machine with dirty water running from a tap was displayed in the event booth and representatives demonstrated, by bringing a bottle of dirty water and contrasting it with a bottle of clean water, as to how significant a threat it is.

This is a global issue, and let us pledge wholehearted support to the campaign that seeks to fight the issue...
